I just learned of Jan's death from my sister. Jan Pruitt was a trusted neighbor of my mother's for twenty five years. When I traveled to Lakeland from California after my mother died in 2007, I saw Jan often. We fed the youngest and shyest of the Lake Hunter birds and I poured out my grieving heart to her listening ear. I appreciate and miss her vibrant spirit.

Did not know that Jan Pruitt had passed away. She had painted several lamp shades and burnished lamps for us over the years. She visited our new home to see her work. Visited with her several times in Winter Haven, and helped her play bingo. Will miss her.
