William Laverne Krajcir

William “Bill” L Krajcir,74, passed peacefully with his family by his side on December 6, 2021, at Lakeland Reginal Hospital in Lakeland FL. He was born on September 16th, 1947, in Coaldale PA to Bernard Krajcir and Ferne Krajcir (Yost).

Bill grew up in many areas of Pennsylvania as a young man. He graduated from Parkland High School in Allentown PA. After high school he joined the United States Army in February 1968 and served for 3 years. He served in Vietnam and was the recipient of the National defense service medal, Vietnam service medal with 3 bronze service stars, Republic of Vietnam campaign medal, and expert rifleman. He was honorably discharged in 1971, achieving the rank of Sergeant.
Bill began worked for Fuller Company as a Fitter Welder where he worked for 34 years. He retired in 2009.

Bill married Judith Minnich in 1970 in Catasauqua PA. They were happily married for 51 years. Bill was of the Lutheran faith. He enjoyed hunting the mountains of Pennsylvania and fishing the lakes in Ontario Canada. He was a lifetime member of the Diligent Fire Co in Jim Thorpe PA where he resided for 27 years. He was a member of the Jim Thorpe fire police serving the community for 15 years.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Ferne Krajcir (Yost).

Bill is survived by his spouse Judy of Lakeland FL.; his sons Billy and Scott and daughters Tammy and partner Susan Mina and Kelly and partner Jason Ramirez all living in Lakeland FL., his brother Bernie and his wife Michele of Lehighton PA and brother Timothy of Pontiac IL.; his grandchildren Erica, Stefani, Taya, Dustin, Damian and Jace and his 5 great-grandchildren. Bill loved his family and spent all his free time with them.

A memorial service will be held at Lakeland Memorial Gardens, 2125 Bartow Rd Lakeland Florida. Flowers can be sent to the funeral home.
