Virginia D Plumlee

Virginia Alice Durham Plumlee of Lakeland Fl. passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020, at age 94.
Born in Hendersonville Tn. July 5, 1925 to the late William Robert and Elma Hale Durham she was preceded in death by her husband Harlin Kenneth Plumlee, brothers: Carl, Earl and Jim Durham sisters: Junie Scott and Mary Jean Doris. Survived by her brother Donald Durham (Anita) and sister Gerald Ann Johnson (Bruce), children, Larry (Anita), Glenn (Linda), Lawrence, Gale Corbin (Steve), Eric (Alice), Barbara Scott. Grandchildren, Kelly, Holly, Amanda, Heather, Laura, Megan, Katie, Justin, Savanna, Chelsea, Mayme. Great grandchildren, Gavin, Christopher, Pierce, Hadlee, Wynston, Elliana, Timothy, Samantha, Elise, Connor.
Virginia attended Hendersonville High School and played basketball her senior year. She continued to enjoy watching the sport into her elder years. Virginia was a member of The Church of Christ in Lakeland Florida. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
