Sylvina Laguerre

Winter Haven – Sylvina Laguerre, 106, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Kindred Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Sylvina was born March 17, 1911, in Dame-Marie, Haiti to Paul Laguerre and Miltitude Cezar.

She is survived by her daughter, Solange DeBrosse; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Francoise Laguerre and brother, Eliphen Laguerre.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., followed by a service at Mt. Calvary Haitian Baptist Church, 398 Recker Hwy., Auburndale, FL 33823.

Visitation again will begin at 9 a.m., followed by funeral services at 10 a.m., on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at St. Paul Convention Center, 2520 4th. Street NE, Winter Haven, FL 33881.
