Steven Wayne Dusenbury, 67, of Lakeland, passed away at his home with friends and family by his side on April 10, 2021. He was born February 13, 1954 in Newark, Ohio. He served his country during the last 3 years of the Vietnam War- November 2,1972 to November 2,1975.
After his service in the US Army, he raised his family in Florida.
Steven was a jack of all trades, working as a mechanic in the military, and afterwards as a mason of brick, block, stucco and stone. He renovated businesses and residential homes, including homes for Habitat For Humanity.
Steven is preceded in death by his wife Ronda Vogann Dusenbury; his father Wayne Odell Dusenbury and granddaughter Jolin Dennis.
He is survived by his mother Beryl Dusenbury; his sister Patricia Harmon; his brother Roy Dusenbury; his daughters Brandi Dennis, Jill Turner and Ami Turner; grandchildren Destiny Helmick, Kayla Wimberly, Gina Dennis, Alea Reynolds, Dwayne “Little D” Reynolds II, Darrell “Sonny” Turner, Serenity Turner, Thomas Grismore Jr. and Devon Dusenbury; and his great-grandson Bentley Dennis. May God rest his soul.
