Shirley M Glover

Shirley M. Glover, 83, of Plant City passed away on Sunday March 10th, 2024. She was born in Lakeland, Florida on August 1, 1940 to the late Harvey and Rachel Moore.
 
Shirley was the head baker at three different elementary schools in the Hillsborough County School system for 28 years. The family gave her a nickname "Squirrelly" from her crazy actions at times.
 
She married George in 1960.  They were married up until his death in November of 2022.
 
She is survived by son James Glover, daughter Carol Jeanine (Ronald) Epps, grandchildren David (Maria) Epps and Maximina (Rob) Bester, great-grandchildren Vicoria (John) Pyle, Samantha Epps, Olivia Epps, Jacob Epps, Ahnalyse Marzuco and great-great-grandchild Amelia Pyle.
 
The funeral service will be held on March 21, 2024 at Lakeland Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens at 2125 South Bartow Highway Lakeland, FL 33801.  The viewing/visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.  Service will be at 9:00 a.m. then a short graveside service will be held.
