Sandhyaben Vashi

Sandhyaben Vashi was a beautiful, pure, and gentle soul.
She was a devoted wife, loving and caring mother, grandmother and mother-in-law .
She was very religious and had immense and unshaken faith in God during her good and bad times.
Her life mainly revolved around her family, and she showered all her unconditional love and affection to her family.

She was a selfless person and was always there to support her family in any way she could.
With her words and actions, she taught us on how to overcome any life challenges.
For example, when the family immigrated to USA, she wanted to help by working
but couldn't speak English and it was difficult for her to get a job.
However, she was persistent and didn't give up.
Finally, she got a job in the food service industry, and she worked hard to learn the skills to perform the job. She maintained her job successfully for 15 years and received a lot of appreciation from her employer.
She retired to take care of her granddaughter.


In 2018, after several months of hospitalization where the family almost lost her, she survived.
She wouldn't live too long but just for a few months.
In spite of that, she went on to live for almost 3 years.
This was due to her positive attitude.
Although she was bedridden, she accepted her illness and left everything in God's hands.
Even in the worst of her days, she never forgot to give a beautiful smile to her caregivers just to show how much she appreciated them.
She gave a strong fight with her illness trying to survive so she can be with her family.

Unfortunately she lost the battle with her illness on July 23rd 2021 in Lakeland ,FL at the age of 62.
We were very fortunate to provide her care at home where we got to spend a lot of quality time
and create good memories.
We will cherish all her memories for the rest of our lives.
She will forever be remembered.
