Ryan Andrew Sackett

Ryan A. Sackett, 44, of Lakeland, FL, passed away on November 8, 2023. Born on June 25, 1979, in Painesville OH, Ryan brought warmth, generosity and kindness to everyone he encountered. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and all who knew him.

Ryan was a genuine and giving person, with the warmest smile. A resident of Noah's Ark of Central Florida, Ryan found joy in the magic of Disney World and other theme parks. He was an avid supporter of the Cleveland Guardians and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He also loved his pets over the years, family dogs Cookie, Tyler, Shadow and Emmie.

He attended Durant High school He then went on to work at the Winn Dixie in Valrico, and later at the Campo Family YMCA.

Ryan's memory will be cherished by his mother, Cheryl Wilson Sackett and father, Charles Sackett of Valrico, FL, as well as his brothers Michael (and Tania) Sackett and Joshua (and Erica) Sackett, as well as his nieces and nephews Norah, Elijah, Oliver, Cecilia, and Leo.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Lenore Wilson, and Charles and Ruth Sackett.

Services to honor and celebrate Ryan's life are currently being planned and details will be shared at a later time.

In this time of grief, may we find solace in the memories we shared with Ryan and in recalling his signature smile and sparkling hazel eyes. He will forever remain in our hearts, a shining example of kindness and generosity. 
Memorial donations can be made in Ryan’s memory to Lakeland Citizen Police Academy Alumni (LCPAAA), an organization that raises money for Police K-9s.
