Loving Mother, and Granny to All

Ruth Legg Odum, 92, of Lakeland, passed away January 10, 2021. Ruth was born May 3, 1928, in Cullman, AL. She is survived by her children Larry Legg (Kaye), Linda Legg Reynolds (Herman, Jr), Barbara Legg Matteson, Jackie Legg (MaryLou), and Denise Legg Rogers (Scott Harfst); 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving caregiver Maybelle Barnaby.
Ruth enjoyed watching baseball, she loved fixing big family meals, playing dominoes and cards. . She retired from the Juice Bowl after working many years in the citrus industry.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 from 10-11AM at the Lakeland Funeral Home, with a service at 11AM. Interment will follow in the Lakeland Memorial Gardens.
