Ruth Ann Barr 91, of Lakeland, FL,passed away on August 16, 2020 at home with cancer.

Ruth Ann was born in North Vernon, Indiana inside a house on March 9, 1929.

She grew up in Columbus, Indiana. She graduated from Indiana Academy. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She married her childhood friend Gene Barr on September 13th, 1947. On their wedding night they only had one quarter, and they went and bought one root beer & an order of fries to share. They spent 73 years & 11 months together, happily together. Gene stayed by her side holding her arm until the Lord called her home. She was a mother, grandmother, and great-grand mother not only to her biological children but to anyone who needed a mother or friend.

Ruth Ann loved to go on vacation with her family, she loved making memories with her loved ones.

She always found the good in people, she truly was an angel on this earth.
