Russell Paul Daniels

Russell Paul Daniels went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 21, 2018. Russ was born on May 4, 1926, in Monessen, Pennsylvania. He and Mariruth, his wife of 66 years, moved to Lakeland in 1986. He was an active member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Russ was a World War II veteran and a retired firefighter in Monessen, PA. Russ retired from General Motors Corp. running a small press for 33 years.

Russ is predeceased by his parents, Elias and Effie Daniels, his daughter Natalie Ann Daniels, his brother Mitchell Daniels, and his great grandson Russell Scott Huffman.
He is survived by his wife, Mariruth Daniels, two daughters, Cheryl Huffman Costine (Bill) of Lakeland, Florida, and Danee Marie Batiste (Brian) of Katy, Texas, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the General Funds of St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 501 E Carter Rd, Lakeland, FL.

Our loving father and papap will live forever in our hearts and will be deeply missed.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019, at 11 a.m., at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Lakeland, FL.
