Randy Alvin Harper

Randy Alvin Harper (also known as Dad Harper) was born on November 30, 1952, in Lakeland, Florida to Ella Lorena Lovering Harper and O.T. Harper. He died on May 3, 2019 at the age of 66, unexpectedly at his home in Lakeland, Florida.
He had a Bachelors degree from UCF and a Masters degree from Nova SouthEastern University. He was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He worked many jobs throughout his career but retired from the Seminole County Public School System where he had been a Computer Applications and Technology teacher.
He is survived by his daughter Natalie Harper, sister Beverly Martin (Charlie King) nephew Jason Foster (Amanda), niece Heather Buckingham (Gordon), great nieces Savanah Ligon and Alahnah Ligon, as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends he considered to be family. He loved spending time with his family. He was a gentle soul with a warm heart and will be deeply missed.
