Paul D. Dennis, 87

Lakeland – Paul Dennis, 87, passed away on March 21, 2018. Paul was born and raised in Iowa and became a Floridian in 1959. He made many lifelong friends during his 25 years at Wellman Lord / Davy in Lakeland. For over 30 years in retirement he enjoyed fishing with family and friends in Englewood and the Everglades, and was as excited about teaching his grandchildren how to fish as he was to fish himself. Paul was preceded in death by his brother Dick and his oldest son, Keith. Survived by Carol, his wife of 61 years, and two sons, Calvin (Becky) in Auburndale and Kevin (Darice) in Tampa, five grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

Friends are invited to join Paul’s family for a graveside goodbye at 11 a.m., on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Lakeland Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens.
