Opal Louise Harper

Opal L. Harper, 88, of Lakeland, passed away June 2, 2018. She was born November 10, 1929 in Tifton, GA to parents George L and Irene Sumner. She spent many years working as a receptionist for Tamiam Freight, Warnock Brothers and Lighthouse Ministries.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Sam M Youngblood; second husband Robert F Harper; sister Naomi Davis; and niece Jane Ham.
Left to treasure her memory is her daughter Brenda Wells (Dan); granddaughters Michelle Henderson and Kimberly Hammock (Earl); great-granddaughter Brylee Henderson and niece Betty Jo Parks.
A visitation will be held 10AM Thursday at the Lakeland Funeral Home, with a funeral service at 11AM. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Burial Park.
