Nicholas Alan Beard

Nicholas “Nick” Beard, 40, of Lakeland, FL, passed away on June 5th, 2022, after a brave battle with metastatic melanoma, skin cancer. 

Nick was born May 2nd, 1982, in Lakeland, FL, graduating from Gause Academy in 2001. Nick went on to become a mechanic by profession for over 20 years. He held a passion for anything fast - two wheels or four. He loved God, Family, and Country and was not shy in supporting the second amendment. He was the jokester of the group, enjoying a good laugh even if it was at his own expense. He thoroughly enjoyed the good times and fought through the bad. He was the first to volunteer to help a friend or family.

Nick is survived by his parents, Sam and Janie Beard, brothers, Daniel and Mark Beard, and daughter Kaylee Beard.

Services will be held Friday, June 10th, 2022, at Lakeland Funeral Home in Lakeland, FL. Visitation starts at 11am, with services to follow at noon. Flowers can be sent to Lakeland Funeral Home. Thereafter or in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Melanoma Research Alliance.
