Nancy M. Pleus

Nancy Marie Pleus (Hans), age 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 8th, 2021, at their home in Mulberry, FL after a courageous battle with cancer.

Nancy was born on May 30th, 1953, in Elyria, Ohio and graduated from Lorain Senior High School (1971). She moved to Lakeland, Florida (1977) where she met and married her beloved Robert “Bobby” Pleus in January 1980. Nancy worked for Accent Business Products starting in Lakeland, transferred to the Fort Myers branch, and returned to Lakeland to finish her career. She retired (Jan 2018) from Zeno Office Solutions (formerly Accent Business Products) after a successful career of 41 years in the copier business. She loved service and talking with her customers.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Harry, and Ruth Hans (Lorain, OH) and oldest brother, Harry Edward Hans III (Boise, ID).

She is survived by her husband Robert Pleus, daughters; Kimberly (Thomas) Richards and Sara (Adam) Rayborn, grandchildren; Zen Richards, Zoe Richards, Ridge Richards, Austin Richards, Fisher Rayborn, and Tanner Rayborn. Also survived are brothers; Richard (Joyce) Hans, Donald (Diane) Hans, Terry (Michelle) Hans, and sisters; Shirley Havens, Donna Hans (in-law), and Jacqueline (Jeffrey) Utz, 7 nieces, 11 nephews, 11 great-nieces, and 12 great nephews.

Besides spending time with family and friends, Nancy has a passion for shopping, throwing parties, sewing, crafts, going to the beach, and camping. She also loved shoes! She had a contagious smile and lit up a room when she entered. She touched many lives with her energy and passion for people. She lived for her grandkids, nieces, and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Sunday, February 6th anytime from 3-6 PM at the home of Jeffrey and Jacqueline Utz located at 4341 David Crum Lane, Lakeland, FL.
