Melba Jean Hash

Melba Jean Hash, 69, of Lakeland passed away Saturday May 22nd, 2021, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Melba was born on October 9th, 1951, in Lakeland to Dewey and Bernice Busbee and was a resident of Lakeland, FL her whole life. She was a retired bus driver for the Polk County School Board.

Melba was proceeded in death by her husband James Hash Jr., and brothers Gene and Ricky Busbee.

She is survived by her daughters Kimberly and Kristy Hash. Sisters, Janelle Dettling and Theresa Eads. Brother Wayne Busbee, Grandchildren, Clayton and Joshua Stepp, Camden, Kyle, And Katlynn Davis and Lillian Hash-Mercer; and Great- granddaughter Ntahala Stepp.

Viewing for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 8th, 2021, from Noon to 2PM, with funeral services to follow at 2PM, at Lakeland Funeral Homes & Memorial Gardens.
