Dear Sandra and Family,

I met Matt in 1977 at work. We were very good friends for a few years and had such good times together as teenagers. I have never forgotten Matt even after we went on to live our separate lives. He was a great guy and I am sure you all miss him greatly. I still have many pictures of him and always remember his curly hair. So sorry Patricia for your loss too as I remember he was your “Matty” . I just found out about his passing and I was in shock as he was too young. My thoughts are with all of you. We remember Matt as a wee child growing up in green and beautiful Vermont. His mom and dad adored him and his little brothers John and Russell. The family went on many fun and exciting camping trips and other memorable events that bind a family together. His mother Pat, my dear cousin, was a smart, loving and kind mother and Matt displayed these engendered qualities. You died way before your time Matt. Rest peacefully knowing you were greatly loved by your immediate and extended family. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all of us.
