Palmetto – Mary Ann Chaffin, 72, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Manatee Memorial Hospital. MaryAnn was born October 2, 1945, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to John and Mary Lou Dowd.
She is survived by her husband, Phil Chaffin; son, Phillip Chaffin, Jr.; daughters, Debbie Bell (Rick), Tracy Gregory and Becky Butters (Andy); sisters, Anena Callahan, Kathy Clarke and Margie Williamson; brothers, John Dowd and Regis Dowd and six grandchildren, Maranda, Hilton, Macayla, Hope, Jordan & Anna.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Timothy Dowd.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 9 a.m., followed by funeral services at 10 a.m., on Monday, April 9, 2018, at Lakeland Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oak Hill Burial Park.
