Mary Alice Wienert

Alice passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018, due to heart complications but was a fighter to the end. She was born in Douglas, Arizona in 1932, and celebrated her 86th birthday last Wednesday.

She is survived by Lloyd whom she was married to for almost 65 years. Lloyd and Alice started their lives together farming in the Midwest, then moving to Texas and later retiring in Florida. Together they had 6 children, Marilyn, Ron, Kandy, David, Karen, and Angi with 10 grandkids, 11 great grandkids with one on the way and 2 great great grandkids with one on the way. Not to forget the spouses Fred, Ramon, Pam and Phillip who she loved dearly.

She laughed until she cried, was always the last player standing for games of blitz or poker that lasted well into the wee hours of the morning. She loved games, jigsaw puzzles, watching Judge Judy, and her soap, Young and the Restless. She gave the most amazing bear hugs. We’ll miss her encouraging words and deep love she had for her family.
She will ALWAYS be in our hearts. The impact on our lives and all those she touched will remain with all of us forever.

And lastly, what will be especially missed will be her daily texts that always ended with “love you”.
