Marvin Gerald Cox

Marvin Gerald Cox, 77, of Lakeland, went home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2018. He was born November 7, 1940 in Jacksonville, FL to parents Marvin Q. and Eleanor Cox.

He is survived by his wife Peggy Cox; beloved mother Eleanor White (Dalten); children Kim Gull (Dewayne), Kenneth Cox (Brandlyn), Shelby Cox (Kim); stepchildren Tom Harrison (Pat), Chris Kendrick (Phil), Beth Musacchio (Jim); grandchildren Kevin, Rose, Meagen, and Karley Cox, Tiffany Brickley, Kayla Allen; six adored great-grandchildren; sisters Peggy Neely and Jane Chauncey.

Gerald was the owner and operator of Cox Trucking, spending his life traveling the highways and by-ways of our country. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and son who will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held from 10-11AM on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Lakeland Funeral Home, with a funeral service at 11AM. Interment will follow in the Lakeland Memorial Gardens.
