Martha J. Goble

Martha Jane Goble, 86, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and nana, was called to her eternal resting place on September 12, 2023. She is dancing in heaven with her late husband and love of her life, Vance Goble. She entered this world on October 1, 1936 in Bradford, PA, born to late parents Mildred and Arthur Swanson. Martha Jane has been reunited with the friends and loved ones who left this world before her. 

She is survived by her sister Gloria & Steve Eutsler, her daughters Karen & Randy Sams, Cynthia Goble & Martha Harrell, Theresa Goble & Denise Cowan, her granddaughters Jessica Sams, Joanna Sams, and Jessica & Stephen Morales, and her great grandchildren Caelum Sams Anderson, Alex Sams Anderson, Bentley Griffith, Stephen Morales Jr., and Oliver Morales in addition to many more family and friends who miss her dearly. 

She loved her family fiercely and cherished her time with them. She loved to travel, dance, sing in the church choir, and crochet. Her joy and delight in life, her laughter, and her love will be missed by all who knew her. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10am followed immediately by the funeral service at 10:30am at Lakeland Funeral Home 2125 Bartow Rd, Lakeland, FL, 33801. 

Flowers welcome, other donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Paralyzed Veterans of America.
