Maria Y. Rios

Maria Y. Rios, 83, of Lakeland, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018. She was born in Gonzalez, Mexico on June 19, 1935.

Maria worked for many years in the Agricultural industry. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. Maria found comfort in her family and her faith.

She is survived by her children, Francisco and Lupita Avitia, Maggie De La Pena , Nestor and Ana Morales, Angelita Carnes, Dora Rios and Javier Villegas, Ricardo Rios and Cindy Lehman, Raul and Teri Murillo, Jose Rios, Jesus Rios, Martin and Norma Sanchez; 30 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Lakeland Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens on Friday, October 26, 2018, from 5-8 p.m., and Sunday, October 28, 2018, from 9-11 a.m., with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m.
