Maria Angel Aleman

She was born in El Salvador on August 22, 1922 to Reymundo Cerón and Paula Victoria Aleman. Though she was orphaned at an early age, she lived a simple happy life growing up. She grew to be a wonderful mother to Enio Alexander Arias, Juaquín Salvador Arias, Ana Hilda Paz, Margarita Rubio, and Jose Reynaldo Arias, and became a patriarch to the family, in that she took care of the needs of her family throughout her life. In 1997 she came to the U.S. to be reunited with her three youngest children.

Maria Angel became a member of the Catholic Church in Lakeland, FL and became A faithful servant to the Lord as well as a beloved friend to many in the community. She was an icon to many around her.

Maria Angel was preceded in death by her parents, son’s Enio Alexander Arias, Juaquin Salvador Arias and husband Jose Domingo Arias. She is survived by her children Ana Hilda Paz, Margarita Rubio, Jose Reynaldo Arias. Grandchildren Carlos Paz, Jonathan Paz, Elmer Arias, Salvador Arias, Manuel Arias, Veronica Rubio, Victor Jose Rubio, 14 great- grandchildren, and 2 great- great grandchildren

Friends will be received Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lakeland, FL followed with a Mass Service from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. A procession will lead Maria Angel to Lakeland Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens in Lakeland, FL for a graveside service immediately following the service.
