Margaret Vaughn, 78, of Lakeland, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021. She was born in Key West, FL December 28, 1942 to parents Herbert and Margarita Quesada. Though Margaret lost the love of her life, William “Jack” Vaughn, Jr in 1998, she now joins him in eternity.
Along with her husband, Margaret is also preceded in death by her parents and her brother Andrew Quesada.
Left to treasure her memory are her children William Vaughn (Lynne) and Cindy Vaughn Fowler (Shannon); grandchildren Megan, Elliott (Melissa), Courtney, and Samantha; great-grandchildren Delaney and Macey.
Margaret was a friend to many, babysitting children- including her grandchildren- in her younger days. Through the years those relationships continued with birthday parties and then weddings to attend. She enjoyed these and other milestones with them and their parents- making for a large extended “family”. They will miss her dearly.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Lakeland Funeral Home, from 1-2PM, with a funeral service at 2PM. Entombment to follow in the Lakeland Memorial Gardens mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made to the Florida Baptist Children’s Home in her honor. http://www.fbch.org/
