Larry Carl Dawson

Larry C. Dawson, of Lakeland, Florida passed away Sunday morning August 11, 2019, at the age of 76.
Larry was born in 1943, in Fort Benning, Georgia. He served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army and retired from the USDA in 2014. He had a passion for his family, gardening and fishing.

Larry is preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Dawson.

Larry is survived by his wife Joann Dawson, his father Clifford H. Dawson of N. Carolina, his sisters Suzanne and Bob Taylor, Colorado, Donna Dawson, Virginia, his Brother David and Christine Dawson, Colorado , his children Missy and John Harbin, Alabama, Jay and Violet Branson, Frostproof, FL., Chris Branson, Lakeland, FL. Seven Grandkids, Kayla and Jon Brock, Johnny Branson, Skyler Branson, AJ Branson, Scarlet Branson, Gabby Branson and Christopher Branson and two Great Grandkids, Emily and Tanner


Celebration of Life Services will be held at the Wabash Community Center located at
1230 Southern Avenue, Lakeland, Florida on Friday August 16, 2019, from 6 pm until 8 p.m…
