Karen Lee Plasky

Karen “Kay” Lee Plasky was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on August 22, 1936. Karen entered Heavens Gates on June 27, 2019. 

Karen lived in Mountain Home, AR for nearly 31 years with her husband, Nicholas Plasky.  When he passed to heaven, she moved to Auburndale, FL with her dog Casey to live out her years. 

Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was an amazing cook and adored making meals for her family. Her skills preparing fried chicken and frying fish that her husband Nick caught out of the lake would make our mouths water. 

Over the years, she got to travel with her husband, enjoyed country music, and enjoyed watching baseball. She also loved going on trips to the casino. 

She had a special place in her heart for dogs and cared for her Yorkie, Casey, every day. 

The family gives gratitude and love to her son, David, for his assistance with her over many years.  

Karen was preceded in death by her son, Michael, grandson Stevie, and her loving husband of 61 years, Nick. She is survived by her children Cindy, Shelly, Julie and David and grandchildren April, Jonathan, Sarah, Jessica, Kyle, Kaitlyn, and Gabriella. 

There will be a private cremation service planned by the family to honor Karen and her life.  

“Amazing grace, how sweet the sound.” Rest forever in peace with Gods arm’s around you.
