Joyce E. Laino

Joyce E (Cramer) Laino, 83, passed away on February 20, 2021. She was born in Fort Covington, New York until the family moved to Enfield, CT. She was a resident of Lakeland, FL and previously from Springfield, Massachusetts.

She enjoyed working retail and helping her customers. She worked at Steiger’s in Longmeadow, Massachusetts for many years. After moving to Florida, she worked for Belk Department Store for over 20 years. She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Lakeland.

Joyce enjoyed bowling, playing cards and tic tac toe with the grandchildren and watching the Yankees.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years Ralph J Laino, her daughters Nancy Miarecki and her husband Allen of Springfield, Massachusetts, Carol Vachon and her husband Darryl of Lakeland, Florida, her four grandchildren Megan McCrea and her husband Scott of Somers, Connecticut, Kayla Davis and her husband Tommy of Somers, Connecticut, Stephanie and Anthony Vachon of Lakeland, FL. Her four cherished great grandchildren Briella and Jacob McCrea and Sofia and TJ Davis.

The family would like to thank Lakeland Nursing and Rehabilitation and Good Shepherd Hospice for caring for Joyce over the past 2 years.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 1:30 p.m., with a celebration of life to follow at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Lakeland Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to, Good Shepherd Hospice, 3470 Lakeland Hills Blvd., Lakeland, FL 33805.
