Joshua Anthony Michael Auguste, 29 of Lakeland, FL, passed away May 9, 2019. He was born October 17, 1989, in Miami, FL to parents Nigeal Auguste and Sonia Montalvo. He is survived by his parents; high school sweetheart and loving wife Zeysha Auguste; daughter Zoey Leila Ivelisse (6); son Jaxson Alexander Michael (4); brother Derek; niece Gabriela and nephew Donovan. Joshua graduated from Miami Palmetto Senior High School class of 2008 and then graduated as a Master Mechanic from Universal Technical Institute.
In addition to being a proud and devoted father and husband, Joshua was a fierce and loyal friend, that passionately cared and loved to help others. It was not uncommon to find Josh replacing brakes or changing the oil from the bottom of his heart, a labor of love some would call it. Joshua showed his love for others through his acts of service, always willing to jump to help wherever he could.
He loved taking his children out on outings while enjoying the peace and greenery of nature. He masterfully competed on the golf course with his brother and father and enthusiastically enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing and working on cars. His legacy will carry on through all the lives he touched.
A viewing will be held at Lakeland Funeral Home on Friday, May 17 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. An additional viewing will be on Saturday, May 18th from 11:00 to 12:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lakeland, Florida at 1:00pm.
