Josephine Caroline Vernile

Josephine Vernile, 87, of Lakeland, passed away on September 8, 2022. She was born in the Bronx, NY to the late Alexander and Josephine Jackman, on July 29, 1935.

Josephine worked for IBM for many years in the Customer Service area. She and her late husband Tom moved to Lakeland in the early 1990’s. She was a kind and caring person who enjoyed reading, doing crafts, and she never missed her weekly Bingo game. Josephine and Tom enjoyed traveling all over, and went on many cruises.

Josephine is survived by her daughter Victoria Apice (Daniel), her two grandchildren Christian and Danielle, nieces and nephews, and some very close friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Tom, her daughter Kathleen Rostron, and her brother.

Services will be held on Saturday September 10, 2022 at Lakeland Funeral Home. Visitation from 1:30 Pm - 2:30 PM, graveside service at 2:30 PM.
