Jon-Michael Welsh, of Mulberry, Florida went safely home to heaven on April 29, 2020. Jon was born in Miami, Florida; graduated from Cooper City High School in South Florida and attended Tallahassee Community College.
Jon married his high school sweetheart, Kimberley Rose in 2000 and was a father to three beautiful children; Angelina, Aidan and Anthony. Jon was a family man who adored his wife and children. Jon was a lifelong sports fan of the University of Miami and Miami Dolphins. He played baseball at Cooper City High School and continued his love of the sport by coaching and mentoring youth baseball in Polk and Hillsborough County.
He was well loved by many in the youth baseball community. Jon’s friends were also very close to his heart and he considered them an extension of his family.
Jon is survived by his wife, Kimberley; his children, Angelina (Angie), Aidan, and Anthony; his mother, Fran Welsh, step-father, Don Boo; sister, Cristina Welsh; Uncle, John Karluk; in-laws, Richard and Patsy Rose; brother and sister-in-law, JJ and Melinda Cumbaa, nephew Ethan, along with a multitude of friends.
