John Ziegler

John Frederick Ziegler passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, March 20, 2021. John was born on December 29, 1953 to Fred and Brownie Ziegler in Lakeland, Florida. He continued to live in Lakeland where he earned a reputation for being a perfectionist in tennis court construction. John had a passion for salt-water fishing, cooking on an open campfire, and smoking meats.

John is preceded in death by his father, mother and his brother Robert. He is survived by his wife Sigrid; his children Erich (Emily), Christine, and Madeline (David); grandchildren Molly, Sebastian, Owen, and Lilly; his Aunt Artie; nephew Brian (Dominique); and numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 11AM with visitation 30 minutes prior at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 4450 Hardin Blvd., Lakeland, FL. Burial will follow at Lakeland Memorial Gardens, 2125 S Bartow Rd., Lakeland, FL.
