A friend in business, we worked together in the film industry. I represented a company called Harwald in Evanston, Il. John was my dealer for me in Florida. We always laughed and had many great dinners with each other.

Dearest Edna and Family,
We are so very sorry about John's passing. He was such a funny, warm, generous man, and a real leader. We will always remember the kindness and generosity he showed to both us and Amanda. You are such a strong family of faith. I know that God will be with all of you always, particularly during this most difficult time. You will be in our hearts and prayers from this day forth. God's deepest blessings to all of you.

My eyes have tears but my heart is glad because we know that we will see John again when we are together in heaven with Jesus.
We are thankful to God for crossing our path with John and his family while in Lakeland and at St Paul. He never failed to make me laugh with his open and joy-filled greetings. We knew from all he did that he loved and lived Jesus.
Well done, my good and faithful servant. Welcome home!
