John Francis Barry

John "Jack" Francis Barry died peacefully in his sleep on December 10, 2019 in Lakeland, FL at the age of 90.

John is survived by his wife Eileen, two daughter Debra and Fran, two sons John and Donald, eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

He is preceeded in death by his grandson, Patrick Barry.

John was born on June 19, 1929 in New York City, New York. John served in the United States Army as a paratrooper. He married his wife Eileen in 1954. He worked as a paramedic for Nassau County, New York for 28 years and retired to Lakeland, FL in 1991.

John enjoyed spending time with his family and watching classic movies. In his younger years, he enjoyed camping, boating, and riding motorcycles. John will be remembered for his wit and humor. He will be greatly missed by all.

John will be cremated. A service to lay John's ashes to rest will be scheduled for mid- 2020.
