Joan McClellan Wang

Joan McClellan Wang, 88, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Spring Lake Rehabilitation Center in Winter Haven. Joan was born January 16, 1930, in Lancaster, PA to Ernest and Beatrice McClellan. She was a registered nurse and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

She is survived by her sons, Greg Garvin and Scott Garvin; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son, Richard H. Garvin.

A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Lakeland in the Chapel at 11 a.m., on, Friday, February 1, 2019.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Lakeland (General Fund).
