Jay Denzer, born February 16, 1939 in Flint, MI, passed peacefully at his home in Lakeland, Florida on April 29, 2020 with his wife Charlotte by his side.
Jay loved racing, Harley-Davidson motorcycles and working on anything with wheels. He opened his own mechanic shop in Midland, Texas where he and his wife lived for many years until they retired to Florida. His other interests were fishing and playing golf.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother John and Edna Denzer, who immigrated to the United States from Ireland and Germany. He was also preceded in death by his sister Gloria Ginger and his brother Jack Denzer.
Jay was survived by his sister Bonnie Underhill of Danville, Indiana, his sons David Denzer of Cuba, Missouri, Richard Denzer of Midland, Texas, Dennis Denzer, John Denzer, Steven Denzer, all of Durant, Oklahoma, and his step-son, Eric Collins of Thomasville, North Carolina. Jay had 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
According with his wishes there will not be a funeral service.
