Janet Snow Pruitt

Janet Snow Pruitt, 89, passed away Saturday, September 9. She was born in Brooksville, Florida November 14, 1927. After graduating from college, she taught school for several years until she was married and moved to Lakeland in 1951. Besides teaching, she had many artistic skills and among them were sewing, painting, stained glass art and silversmithing.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary McKeown Snow; husband, Dan Pruitt; brothers, Russell Snow, Mayo Snow and Bob Snow.
She will be laid to rest next to her late husband at Lake Lindsey Cemetery in Brooksville, Florida.
A memorial service is planned for Thursday, September 28, 11:00am at Eden Baptist Church with a family lunch to follow.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Lake Lindsey Cemetery fund in Janet's memory.
