On Friday morning, June 16, 2018 the Lord called to an end this earthly journey of Inez Alberta Carr.
Loving, kind, caring and composed are some of the words we can use to describe Ms. Nez,
Aunt Inez, Grandma. Inez Alberta Carr (nee O’Sullivan ) was born in the parish of Manchester,
Jamaica, West Indies, on March 25, 1921 to Alberta Dixon and Charles O’Sullivan.
Inez Carr migrated to the United States in the early 1960’s and resided in New Rochelle, New York where
she lived with her husband Ralph Carr (deceased). After her husband’s retirement they moved
to Lakeland, Florida where she has resided since.
Ms. Nez will be remembered for her God fearing ways and positive attitude. She was an ardent
church member who worshipped at the Sixth Street Church of Christ. She was an attentive
listener who freely gave advice on whatever issues you presented to her because she believed
that all will be well as long as you trust God.
Aunt Inez will be fondly remembered for her willingness to lend a helping hand to all who she
came in contact with. She would always babysit her grandchildren, grandnieces and anyone
else who needed care.
Inez was predeceased by her loving husband Ralph Carr and a son Derrick Carr.
She leaves to cherish her memories, sons Gladstone, Devon; two daughter in law, Hazel Roberts and Yvonne Carr; grandchildren; Marjorie Roberts, Anthony Roberts, Sandra Roberts, Peter Roberts, Althea Roberts, Hugh Roberts, Steven Roberts, Shevoun Carr, Donovan Carr, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren; nephews and nieces; relatives, and close friends.
