Herbert Shannon Goodson

LAKELAND - Herbert Shannon Goodson, Jr., 59, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Shannon was born April 17, 1958, in Lakeland, Florida to Norma and Herbert Shannon Goodson, Sr. and has been a lifelong resident. He attended Heritage Baptist Church. Shannon is survived by his mother, Norma Goodson; sister, June Poxon (Vince); niece Casey Chandler; and partner, Jodi Bosin. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a chapel service at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Lakeland Funeral Home & memorial Gardens.
