Gordon Aaron Martin

Gordon Aaron Martin, 86, of Lakeland, passed away March 2, 2021. He was born in Bartow, FL, December 29, 1934 to parents Willie and Nellie Martin. He was a proud Air Force veteran, who served during the Korean War. After the military, he worked in Information Systems at Publix until his retirement.
Gordon was a member of Toastmasters, Citizens Police Academy, as well as being a past Grand Master of Masonic Lodge #91. He was a longtime member of Scott Lake Baptist Church. He was also a charter member of Lakeside Baptist Church.
Left to treasure his memory is his wife Patricia; children Russell J Martin (Laura), Denise Sharp (Bobby) and Sandra Bennett (Gregg); grandchildren Blake Bennett (Cierra), Brad Bennett (Amanda), Ben Bennett (Gracie), Rob Martin (Kayla), Austin Sharp (Joy), and Travis Sharp (fiancé Chloe); great-granddaughter Ellie Bennett.
