George G. Glover

George G. Glover, 80, of Plant City, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022.He was born in Tampa, FL on August 24, 1942, to the late Charles and Eva Glover.

George served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam era, and was a member of the Masons. He married the love of his life, Shirley in 1960. George worked as Florida Game Warden, but switched careers, and worked as a sheet metal worker for the power plant until he retired.

George is survived by his wife of 61 years Shirley Glover, son James Glover, daughter Carol (Ronald) Epps, grandchildren David (Maria) Epps and Maximina Bester, great- grandchildren Victoria Palmer, Samantha Epps, Olivia Epps, Jacob Epps, and Ahnalyse Marzuco, great-great-grandchild Amelia Pyle.

Services will be held at Lakeland Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
Visitation from 9 AM -10 AM, service at 10 AM.
