George E Williams

George E. Williams, 90, of Lakeland, passed away March 23, 2022. He was born March 10, 1932 to parents John and Minnie Williams. George was a proud Army Veteran, having served during the Korean War as a heavy equipment mechanic from 1952-1954. Once back home, he and his wife Donna were the owners and operators of Williams Upholstery for over 40 years.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Donna. Left to treasure his memory are his children Dennis Williams of Mulberry, Kathy Wood (Bill) of Lakeland, Jack Williams (Traci) of Lakeland, and Rodney Williams (Diane) of Polk City; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; his sister Mary Kreischer of Indiana.
A visitation will be held 1PM Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the Lakeland Funeral Home, with a funeral service at 2PM. Interment to follow in the Lakeland Memorial Gardens.
