Scott passed into eternity on Monday, June 5, 2017.
He was survived by his father Tom Gorman, mother Penny Gorman, step mother Pamela Gorman, Sisters Robin Mowell & Bethany Schmidt, Brothers Tommy Gorman, Dan Gorman & Ryan Gorman.
He had a magnetic personality and a unique sense of humor. When he made a friend, it was for life.
His family was everything to him, and he loved spending time with them. Whether it was cooking, baking, watching movies, or spending time outdoors, you could be sure there would lots of fun and lots of laughs. And as a Florida State University Alumni, he was a diehard Seminoles fan! He was an amazing uncle to his 6 nieces, 4 great nieces, 5 nephews, and 6 great nephews.
He dedicated his life to taking care of others. Whether it was his work at Polk County EMS, or as a case worker for Gulf Coast Jewish Family Services. Even in his final days his main concern was making sure his family was taken care of.
To say Scott will be missed is an understatement. The place left in our hearts can never be filled. So we await the day we are reunited once again. We love you Scott.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at 2 pm, at Lakeland Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens.
