Eric W Fair

Eric Wardell Fair, retired SFC U.S. Army, transitioned July 1, 2021 at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.

He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 14, 1949 to Wardell Fair and Laverne Davis (Nesbitt). He is preceded in death by both parents, his step-father Edgar Nesbitt, Sr. and brother Edgar Nesbitt, Jr.

Left to treasure Eric’s many memories are his wife Silvia; five children Erica Fair (Laurel, MD), Eric J. Fair (Memphis, TN), Nadine Krieg (Auburndale, FL), Nadine Pugh (Bad Nauheim, Germany), and Kevin Fair (Bad Homburg, Germany); two sisters, Karen Boone (Austin, TX) and Adrienne Nesbitt (Memphis, TN) and one brother Dwayne Nesbitt (Memphis, TN); one brother-in-law Lothar Seymann, (Petersburg, Germany) and one sister-in-law Kerstin Seymann (Petersburg, Germany); six grandchildren. He also is survived by many nieces, nephews and a host of extended family members and friends.

He will be interred with military honors at the National Florida Cemetery on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 2:30 P.M.
