Elvena Luellen Dobbs

Elvena Luellen Dobbs passed away on March 28, 2021 in Lakeland, Florida. She was survived by her three children Delores (Lorie) James, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Paula Dobbs, Pinellas Park, Florida, Michael Dobbs, Washington, 12 grandchildren, sister Carolyn Gleghorn, Washington, sister-in-laws Connie Gregory, San Pedro, CA, Janet King, Wilmington, CA, nieces and nephews. Elvena is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Dobbs of 50 years and great-granddaughter Birdie Mae Navarro.

Elvena was born on July 27, 1943 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jarvis Brentlinger and Sadie Stumpf. Elvena met her husband Kenneth at a donut shop in Carson, California and they were married on June 2, 1961. They were married for 50 years until Kenneth’s death in 2011. They eventually moved from California to Oklahoma in 2004. She is now with her husband that she deeply loved and missed.

They will be buried on their wedding anniversary, June 2nd
