Delores M McDurmon

Delores “De” Marie McDurmon, 84 of Lakeland, FL went to be with the love of her life, Bill, her husband of 57 years on June 30, 2020. Originally from Mt. Vernon, IN, De and Bill retired and moved to Lakeland, FL in 1986. There they spent many years traveling overseas, loving life and loving each other. De always had a beautiful smile and was a special friend to so many and an exceptional loving “Nana” to her many grandchildren. She was an excellent cook especially at the holidays. She loved and lived by tradition and everyone loved her special dishes. She will be greatly missed and our hearts our empty but after spending over two years without her “Bill”, once again they are reunited. Together they had five children; Bill Jr., Bob, and Lisa all of Mt. Vernon, IN, Rick who is deceased, and Tami of Lakeland, FL. At her request, there will be no funeral services.
