Debbie Lynn Causey, 51, a loving wife, mother, sister, and Mimi passed from mortality to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 6, 2021. Debbie is preceded in death by her brother Michael Stephen Bucci, and her parents Delores Marie Bucci and Philip Anthony Bucci, Jr. She is survived by her Husband Daniel Causey, her brother Brian Bucci, his wife Patti, her children Marissa Sweeney, David Causey his wife Amanda, Cameron Causey his wife Jenmae, Ciara Joiner and her husband Austin, Joseph Causey, Timothy Causey, and Rose Causey. Grandchildren Makinzi, Hansley, Everly, twins Remington and Ryder, and JoeLynn.
Debbie was born in Lakeland, Florida, February 17, 1970 and moved to Tallahassee after the birth of her first daughter to be closer to her parents. She married the love of her life, Daniel, July 2007 and was excited to celebrate her fifteenth year of marriage next year. She has spent her life working as an Accountant and has been blessed to work with very dear friends at various companies.
She was a devoted Christian who embodied the love of Christ and compassionate service. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she has served in many different capacities, her favorite as a Sunday School for young children. She will be deeply missed and will always be loved and remembered.
Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3717 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee, FL 32309 on Thursday, November 11, 2021; viewing will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and the Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM.
There will be another service in Lakeland at the Lakeland Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 2125 Bartow Rd, Lakeland, FL 33801 on Friday, November 12, 2021, viewing will be from 1-2:30 pm, with graveside services immediately following. Todd Wahlquist with Bevis Funeral Home (850-385-2193, www.bevisfh.com) is assisting the family with their arrangements.
