DANNY WILKERSON

Danny Wilkerson, 70, passed away on November 21 at Lakeland Regional Hospital. He was the husband Glenda Wilkerson of Lakeland, FL. They shared 29 years of marriage together.

Born in Union, MS, he was the son of Abel and Bobbie Wilkerson. He graduated with his bachelor’s from University of Southern Mississippi. He most recently worked as a retail manager for Marshalls.

He will be remembered for his charming wit, “dad” jokes, and his love for the Houston Astros. He will also be remembered for how much he loved his wife, children, and dog.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Wilkerson, his children, Trent (Courtney Wilkerson), Kimberly (Tony Pollan), Kip (Bonnie Wilkerson), his grandchildren Mason Wilkerson, Laney Wilkerson, Kenzie Wilkerson, Tony Pollan Jr., Ava Pollan , Garrett Wilkerson, Adrian Wilkerson, Georgiana Wilkerson, great-grandson Grae Wilkerson, and his dog Hershey Wilkerson.

Memorial services were held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Lakeland Funeral Home.

A graveside memorial will take place at 10: 00 AM on Monday, December 19th, 2022 at Eastlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi.
