Christian Michael Geohagan

January 13, 1993 ~ March 4, 2018 (age 25) 25 Years Old

Tribute

Christian Geohagan passed away on March 4, 2018. He fought a long, courageous battle against cystic fibrosis. He was surrounded by a room full of people that deeply loved him when he decided it was time to finally rest his warrior's body. He was 25 years old.

Christian was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. He traveled many places in his young life, including several cruises, the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, New Mexico, Lake Tahoe and Alaska. He loved to see and experience new places. He was currently still residing in Lakeland with his fiance.

From the moment he was born, he was the definition of a gentle soul. He grew into the most good-natured, soft hearted young man. Even on the day he passed, his nurse had no words for the kindness he was able to show her, a stranger. It brought her to tears as she'd never met anyone like him. He was truly a blessing straight from the Heavens.

Christian enjoyed many loves and hobbies in his life. He adored his kitties. Some of his last wishes were to make sure they were taken care of. He loved playing the guitar and would be so excited to share his newest accomplishment with us the moment we were all together. He could listen to the music and begin to play it. Time spent in his high school band were some of his favorites as well. He also enjoyed playing video games, with an online community that deeply loved him and card games like Magic, where he made many cherished friends. He and his fiance also bowled on a league. Post double lung transplant in 2016, Christian really fell in love with fishing. He joined a local fishing club and even competed in a couple of tournaments. 'The Office' tv show was typically running in the background, with Christian being able to quote most of it. Nothing made him laugh like that show! And perhaps his favorite hobby of all was being a Tampa Bay Lightning hockey fan. He attended many games and for his 22nd birthday, his fiance arranged for him to start off the 2nd period of the game by activating the Tesla coils in the arena. He loved to explain the game as well (thank goodness!). He was patient with those of us just trying to find the puck on the ice.

Christian's strength was unwavering. His will to live undeniable. His animation was captivating. His sense of humor, absolutely contagious. His heart was made of pure gold. His kindness and love extended to all and you could feel it before he even entered the room. He was an exceptional human. What a gift we were bestowed to call him ours.

We were all given nearly 2 extra years with Christian due to the miracle of organ donation. He was on a passionate mission to educate about the life changing gift he received. Honor his memory by becoming an organ donor at any time by visiting www.donatelife.net

Christian is survived by his fiance Kaitlyn Prince; his parents Valerie Johnson & Terry Greenwood and Michael & April Geohagan; his beloved Grandparents; Aunts, Uncles, cousins and numerous other family and friends.
