Cheryl E. McFerran

Cheryl "Sherrie" McFerran passed away July 21, 2018 peacefully at home in Lakeland, Florida. She was born August 6, 1945, in Denver, Colorado to Harold and Marion Wernecke. She was preceded in death by her husband William K. McFerran. She is survived by her brother, David Wernecke (Judy). She is survived by her son William Hauser (Mindi) and daughter, Dawn Humphreys.  She is survived by her grandchildren; Luke Hauser (Ashley), Madison Wanbaugh (Josh), Mallory Hoatland, MaKenna Vrabel (Cory), Sarah Humphreys and Zane Humphreys.  Great grandchildren; Boone Hauser, Mitchell Wanbaugh, Jaydin Wanbaugh and Raegan Vrabel.  

The family would like to thank Good Shepard Hospice of Lakeland and her nurse Sarah for her compassionate care.  The family would also like to thank her special caregiver, Licia, for the love and devoted care that she bestowed upon our loved one.  

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Lakeland Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be from 11:00 to 12:00 with service to follow at 12:00.
